MEET THE COACHES

Coach Perez is the owner and director of the Fort Worth Elite Basketball Club. He founded the club in 2021. He has been coaching basketball for 20 years, 16 of those years have been as a varsity head coach where he has 380 career wins. In addition to that, Coach Perez was the associate head coach at Schreiner University for 4 years where he was the main assistant coach, recruiting director, and director of player development. Prior to coaching, he attended Texas Lutheran University from 2001-2005 and was a member of the Men's Basketball Program all four seasons. Coach Perez currently serves as the head varsity boys basketball coach at The Covenant School of Dallas.

Coach Paz is a coach who brings a passion for youth development and a strong background in physical fitness to the program. He has experience coaching in local youth basketball leagues and was selected as the 2026 Aledo Lions Club All-Stars Head Coach, recognizing his leadership and commitment to young athletes.

Outside of basketball, Coach Paz coaches at the F45 fitness center in Willow Park and has years of experience in physical training and athletic development. His focus is on helping athletes build strong fundamentals, confidence, and a love for the game.
